Our Committees
Join a committee consisting of leaders within CHS who are working and meeting regularly to build out more offerings and initiatives for society members to engage in. Committee chair positions are voted on by the board and subject to term limits. Membership and Engagement
Recruit new members to the society, ensure society board and leaders are effectively advertising the society, and facilitate the initial engagement of a new member.
Program and Meeting
Identifies ways in which CHS members can learn about other professions and topics related to climate and health outside their own sphere or deepen their knowledge of specific climate health-related topics and skills. This is predominantly done through virtual events and online content.
Finance
Oversees the financial health of the Society, including budgeting, reporting, and stewardship of resources.
Operations and Outreach
Maintains the core infrastructure of the society to support active committees and projects including website support, social media, and coordination of virtual events put on by committees.
Sustain Our Abilities
Continues to operate the consumer facing organization preceding CHS with a specific mission to focus on climate and health impacts on persons with disabilities.
Education
Develops and curates educational resources, training programs, and continuing education opportunities for members and the broader public.
